Description: Medium-sized, closely appressed to ascending foliose lichens; surface usually wrinkled. Photobiont green. laminal or maginal; conidia dumbbell-shaped.

 Lower Surface:  pale, wrinkled, with fairly abujndant, pale rhizines

Color:  yellowish

Apothecia: lecanorine, with light brown, shiny disks, produced on the upper surface or margins of the lobes

Spores: colorless, 1-celled, spherical & prominant,

NO pseudocyphellae OR soredia

cilia: sparse OR absent
