Kombucha

Kombucha (“kom-boo-chah”) is a highly-nutritious, naturally effervescent beverage that is grown using a type of fungus that is the Kombucha itself.  Over a period of time it feeds off of sugar-flavoured tea in order to create a beverage flavoured as the grower chooses.

Nutritional Benefits:  Kombucha is an excellent non-animal source of vitamin B-12.  Kombucha contains millions of “probiotic” bacterium similar to that found in yogurt.

Notes: Kombucha is a great, bio-available (bloodstream-soluble) form of B-12.  It also is a more nutritionally, environmentally, & animal-wise choice than yogurt or meat products.
